Fion's Place
 Finally,
here are a two pictures from holidays at my house.
This picture was taken
around Christmas obviously, by Fion's good friend Apple. Fion and Apple
met in high school and pretty much grew up together I guess.
The wimpy little tree
is all that we have room for. Don't forget that outside of the holiday
season you need a place to store the sucker. We've decorated it with the
standard baubles, tinsel and lights, but no popcorn or angels. We're trying
to come up with some Christmas traditions, but out here it's not as easy
as you might think.
 I've
noted that the last photo was taken at some Chinese New Year, but now
that I look at it more, I'm not sure why I thought that. More when my
memory is better...
In general, we haven't
been all that good about celebrating holidays. I think part of the problem
is that we don't know all that many people to invite over. Of course,
those few people rarely want to come out all the way to where I live so
we end up going out to meet them instead. We're trying to entertain more
often though.
