Vince and Fion's Wedding
During the afternoon, before guests started arriving, we had some
photos taken outside of the hotel. We were late starting, so the light
started fading before we would have liked. It was a windy day too!
A few shots that include me too; outside of the tent, in the hotel,
and inside the tent.
Typically, people come in and have their picture taken in front of the
backdrop alongside the happy couple, but Fion and I wanted a more
natural look with a variety of backgrounds. Unfortunately, the
photographer's head almost exploded as he tried to understand that
idea, so we ended up doing a lot of traditional shots after all.
These are some of the people who work with me, but they wandered off
now and then so there are two separate, overlapping shots. Note that
Fion's dress has more shine to it in person; that didn't really come
out in these photos.
Finally, here's a shot of the wedding cake, and another example of
vendors thinking we were crazy. Apparently, many people use a cake
for cosmetic or photography purposes only so we had to go to an
outside source to have one made using actual cake for all the layers.
I think the guests weren't expecting that either, because many
people seemed surprised when slices were served after the main courses.
